A little about me
Hello and welcome to my amateur radio website. My name is Michael Schrader, and I have been an amateur radio operator since 1997. I currently hold a General class license. I am 26 years old, and live in Maine.
My inspiration for building this website comes from my good friend John. You can see his website at KX5JT.net

You can listen to a live feed from my Icom IC-718 with this link. I'm working on interfacing my microphone to the soundcare so that people listening to the live feed will be able to hear me while I'm working DX. I work alot of PSK so if you hear strange warbling noises that is what you are hearing (for you non hams).
Please check out lcwo.net, a great website for learning CW online. Very well done, you can track your progress and the website will actually tell you when you should move on to another character. The website is an asset to any amateur wishing to become proficient in morse code!
